Diet

Before making decisions about any diet we need to find foods that are not compatible with your body. We use the food allergy test - ALCAT. The ALCAT is an effective and comprehensive test for food sensitivity and intolerance(s). There are varieties of diets and advice about “best foods and supplements”. It easy to get lost in the information. My approach to nutrition is simple. The food should be unprocessed, no gluten, no milk, and no sugar. And of course don’t forget to drink water. Recipe:

Gin-soaked raisins has become a popular folk remedy for arthritis

· take a box of golden raisins. (note: they must be the golden variety, sometimes called white raisins, better with seeds).
· place the raisins in a shallow container.
· cover the raisins with gin.
· let the raisins soak in the gin for a few weeks.
· you then eat 10 of these drunken raisins 30 minutes before breakfast.

This delicious healthy recipe uses just four ingredients: extra virgin organic coconut oil, raw cocoa, raw honey and a dash of cognac. I liked this recipe because it has several antioxidants and has pleasant taste. Raw cocoa is a super food and has more antioxidants than green tea or wine and gives you a natural energy boost. Health benefits include: improved metabolism, thyroid function, and increased energy and promotes weight loss. Raw honey has well known multiple health profits. I use cognac just for bitter taste and put it small amount. You could easy not put it and still enjoy this recipe. Make it ahead of time and it can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer for up for months.

Cooks Tip: Make this recipe with a high quality extra virgin coconut oil. When eaten neat coconut oil has a mild, delicious coconut flavor that leaves your mouth clean, which is a sign of a high quality oil. If an oil ever leaves your mouth feeling oily or fatty, that's a sure sign it's low quality, and you'll want to opt for a higher quality oil.
